Scope Of Work
Powers & Sons Construction was the General Contractor for the new 4,323 SF restaurant. This is the first Culver’s Powers & Sons has constructed. The project was completed ahead of schedule, in under three months, within the budget.
While the project was a success, the project team faced some challenges such as coordinating permanent power natural gas as well as handling the vast amount of inspections required by the City of Joliet. To ensure the success of the project, the Powers & Sons team worked closely with the Owner, the city and subcontractors. Weekly jobsite visits by the project manager and close inspections by superintendent to make sure all installed work was in compliance with contract documents, enabled the team to achieve a zero punch-list (Z-P.R.I.D.E.) at the project’s closeout.
