Scope Of Work
CHI St. Joseph Health is on a mission to create healthier communities. Through its MatureWell program, CHI St. Joseph partnered with Texas A&M Health Science Center to support the overall health of body, mind, and spirit of those who enter the second phase of life.
The firm hired Vaughn to construct a two-story, 23,000 SF health and wellness center devoted to seniors. The facility is designed to advance unique health care techniques for this seasoned population through clinical care collaboration between physicians and clinicians from CHI St. Joseph Health and medical students and faculty from Texas A&M Health Science Center.
The facility houses a board-certified geriatrician, nursing staff, physical therapists, a gym and exercise area, indoor pool, diagnostic services including imaging and labs, rehabilitation services, and a pharmacy. Residents can participate in personalized fitness programs, wellness programs, and educational programs for nutrition, disease, and lifestyle management.
The MatureWell Lifestyle Center is the only facility of its kind in the nation that provides full service healthcare, from primary care to rehabilitation services, for adults 55 and older. It is the first facility to offer cardiac services in the Bryan, Texas area, and provides the highest level of emergency trauma services to Brazos Valley.
