Scope Of Work

The College at Brockport’s North Campus was largely built in the 1960s and is now addressing failing critical infrastructure. C&S, as prime consultant, led the utility and site master planning, design, construction administration and inspection for major utility, infrastructure, and site improvements. The four components were:
•    Identification, location, and condition assessments of all site infrastructure assets on the north campus.
•    Creation of a large GIS-based information model that links to all of the utility and site data.
•    Development of a conceptual improvements plan to be used for long-term campus planning.
•    $12 million of infrastructure improvements identified in the conceptual plan.
The long-term vision includes upgrading electrical and communications infrastructure to increase capacity and redundancy, replacing aged unlined cast iron water pipe, demolishing abandoned high-temperature hot water tunnels, and improving the stormwater management system and sanitary sewer lines. Above-ground enhancements will create greater cross-campus connectivity with the south campus, west campus, and Erie Canal waterfront.
