Scope Of Work

For this four lane suburban arterial carrying up to 20,000 vehicles daily, C&S designed  a rehabilitation program that renewed existing asphalt concrete pavement while increasing safety and mobility through the three-mile corridor. Improvements included pavement widening to accommodate a two-way left turn lane, replacement of five traffic signals, realigning a triangular dual intersection into a signalized T-intersection and a cul-de-sac, and installation of new sidewalk and curb ramps to extend limits of dedicated pedestrian facilities. The project featured replacement of all drainage systems, both open and enclosed, plus reconnection of residential and commercial driveways, which included construction of curbed channelizing islands for better access management.
