Scope Of Work
Construction Manager at Risk - This 17 phase project consists of a new Cardiovascular addition, a new Outpatient Center Addition, a new Surgery Addition and various renovations throughout the existing University Hospital. The new, 184,000 Cardiovascular Center includes a 12,000 square foot Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation Center, 72 patient rooms and 10 catheterization labs. Renovations to the hospital entry and expansion to the parking lot were also completed during this phase.The new 10,000 square foot Outpatient Center consists of a second story overhang, housing phlebotomy, and a new two-story addition for a new hospital entry.The 7,500 square feet Surgery addition resides directly adjacent to the current Surgery department. Five new larger operating rooms replace five existing smaller rooms, which will become surgery support spaces.Additional phases of the project comprise 86,358 square feet of renovations to the first three floors of the existing hospital and include a new Patient Care administration office area, expansion of the Surgery Pre-Op Department, renovations to the Family Waiting areas, Surgical Support Areas, Beauty Shop, Lab and Pathology offices, and Lab Support space.
