Black Pest Prevention

In 1967, my grandfather, Boyce Black, took me on my first termite job. I was only five years old. I remember how excited I was when he paid me two whole dollars for my day’s work! Little did I know that I would grow up to follow in my grandfather’s footsteps. Some of my fondest years at Black Pest Prevention were the years I worked as a technician, because I enjoyed meeting my customers and working with my employees. When I’m not working, I enjoy spending most of my time outdoors. It’s hard to beat a day on the water or a day in the woods with my dogs.

I first began working at Black Pest Prevention when I was a junior in high school. While attending N.C. State University, I continued to work for the company during summers. As I began to learn different aspects of the business, I decided to pursue a degree in Business and Marketing. After graduating from NCSU in 2011, I began to work full time at Black Pest. What I love most about this company is helping the business succeed and playing a role in it’s continued growth. I take great pride in being fourth generation, and I strive to build upon what my great grandfather and my uncle worked so hard to achieve. We have a fantastic group of dedicated employees, and we work well together as a team. While away from the office, a few of my favorite pastimes are golf, relaxing at Lake Norman, and spending time with my dogs and husband.

I began working at Black Pest Prevention when I was in high school. I started out working with our termite and pest control technicians, during which time I gained invaluable experience in our day-to-day operations. I continued working for Black Pest Prevention during the summers while attending UNC Chapel Hill. As I learned more about the company and the amazing team we have here, I began to love working at Black Pest Prevention even more. I’m very proud to be fourth generation, and I’m determined to continue to grow and strengthen the company my great-grandfather and uncle worked so hard to build. The best part about working at Black Pest Prevention is being able to work with such a tight-knit group of dedicated, hard-working people. When I’m not in the office, I love to play golf and relax at the lake with my friends and family.

I have worked with Black Pest Prevention since 2006. I love spending time with my family, friends and my fur baby, Dudley! In my spare time, I like to go shopping, watch a good movie with friends, or read a good book. What I like most about working for the company is the people I work with, always learning something new about the business, and the customer relationships I have made over the years.

I have been with Black Pest since 2006. I enjoy spending time with my family, whether it be going out to eat or staying home to watch movies. In my spare time, I decorate homes and watch football. The best part about working at Black Pest Prevention is the people I work with. Everyone works together to uphold the standards of the company.

I have been with Black Pest since February of 2010. I love to spend time with my children, and in my spare time I go to church and participate in volunteer activities. I enjoy working for a company that truly has the customer’s satisfaction in mind! Some companies say it, but this is the first company I have worked for that has proven it time and time again.

I have been with the company since 2005. I love spending time with my family at the beach or the mountains. In my spare time, I enjoy grilling outdoors and collecting antiques and other collectibles. What I enjoy most about the company is that they take care of their employees.

I have been with the company since 2010. I am retired from the US Army after 20 years and enjoy spending my spare time with my wife and two daughters. We enjoy hiking, camping, or just relaxing at home with our dog and two cats. I enjoy working for Black Pest Prevention because I like working with people and knowing that I’m helping others with their problems. It helps them feel safe because they are pest free.
