Scope Of Work
Clark renovated the home plate and right-center outfield seating sections in preparation for the 2016 Major League Baseball All-Star Game. This followed Clark's construction of the 1.14 million square-foot ballpark in 2004, and 2013 reconfiguration of the outfield area.
The Clark team replaced all existing seats in the Lexus Home Plate Club area, install fluid-applied flooring, and replace the existing backstop netting system. Additionally, the bleacher seats and the beach club in right-center outfield were replaced by a two-level terraced party deck area called the Sun Diego Deck. The deck is constructed of a wood composite and has decorative timber piling, mimicking one of San Diego’s many oceanside piers. The new deck used the existing seating walls as foundations as support.
