Scope Of Work
Clark, in a joint venture with Atkinson Construction, will modernize and expand the Otay Mesa Land Port of Entry to address dramatic growth in traffic volumes.
The project team will double processing capability for pedestrians and add additional truck lanes for the Otay Mesa import facility. The scope of work includes constructing new tenant agency buildings, transferring the hazardous materials importation process from the export facility to the import facility, refreshing/renovating existing office spaces, and constructing a new employee parking structure.
Once complete, the project will provide the port with adequate operational space, reduced traffic congestion, and a more efficient layout for port operations and the traveling public.
The project is designed to achieve LEED Gold and SITES Silver certifications.
