Scope Of Work
Clark is constructing 1.5 million square feet of residential and academic spaces in the development of a living and learning community at UCSD in La Jolla, CA.
The Clark team is constructing residential amenities, support spaces, and new locations for the Sixth College Provost, student affairs center, and writing program. As part of the scope of work, Clark’s team will provide below-grade parking for 1,200 vehicles, roadway improvements, and utility and site improvements. The North Torrey Pines Living and Learning Neighborhood will have the capacity to house up to 2,000 undergraduates in Sixth College.
Once complete, the Living and Learning Neighborhood will provide an educational environment that fosters collaboration, leadership, and innovation in support of the UCSD’s strategic plan. The new community will integrate housing and academic spaces by providing new cross-discipline classrooms, as well as instructional and research space for the Social Sciences and Humanities departments and programs.
The project is designed to achieve LEED® Platinum certification.
