Scope Of Work
The Historic Inn at Serenbe underwent an extensive renovation to add guest rooms and a ballroom. Working again with Locus Design and Serenbe Development, Morgan was retained early in the design process to assist with conceptual budgeting and the construction schedule. Even with the 12 foot ceilings in the guest rooms and 24 foot ceilings in the ballroom, energy efficiency remained a priority. Morgan’s team drilled 340 foot deep geothermal wells with over three (3) miles of piping and installed spray foam insulation in all wall cavities. This eight (8) month schedule was a challenge because of the requirement to keep the existing guest rooms and flagship restaurant open for large events during all construction phases.
