Scope Of Work
An abandoned Circuit City retail building was converted into this 24,000 SF indoor competitive climbing and workout facility consisting of four climbing areas, a lounge, locker rooms/bathrooms, offices and storage. Careful attention to detail and selective demolition was completed before commencing with the complicated construction project. One of the most critical activities on the schedule was to raise the roof structure 60 feet to accommodate the largest of the custom made climbing walls, which were fabricated in eastern Europe. The main stair is enclosed in a re-purposed shipping container which leads to the mezzanine. Translucent exterior wall panels were added to maximize natural light in the space in the mezzanine full service workout area.
