Scope Of Work
GES was awarded the Prime Contract for the new Medical Center Lobby project located at the Wilmington VA Medical Center in Wilmington, DE.
Project will provide the Wilmington VAMC with a new loop road connecting parking on the west side of the facility with Kirkwood Highway to improve vehicular traffic patterns and pedestrian safety.
A new entrance at the intersection of the Community Living Center, Valet Entrance and West Parking area will accommodate the construction of the new lobby and Hospital West Entrance.
The new entrance portion of the project will incorporate new restrooms, offices, and an improved auditorium with upgraded multipurpose capabilities to provide patients and their families a first rate experience when at the hospital.
Lastly, miscellaneous site work to accommodate the scope of work, including removal of building #21, relocation of existing smoking shelter, relocation of CLC chiller and replacement of the CLC generator fuel tank and rehab AHU-1 to gain space and improve facility operational efficiencies.
