Scope Of Work
GES has been awarded the Prime Contract for the Building 20H Medical Media renovations project located at the Perry Point VA Medical Center in Perry Point, MD.
The existing Medical Media Building 20H was built in 1940 has had one renovation in 1992.
This project is intended to correct Facility Conditions Assessment (FCA) deficiencies, upgrade building systems. Many of the deficiencies in the building can be attributed to the lack of storm water drainage outside the building; therefore proper drainage is to be provided by this project in addition to the building renovation work. The building is approximately 8,000SF houses three programs: Information Resource Management (IRM), Medical Media Telephone Operators.
This project will upgrade building systems as well as capturing properly conveying storm water runoff. This work includes but is not limited to: Interior finishes, Security, LEED upgrades, Structural components, Hazardous material, HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Fire systems Site draining.
