Scope Of Work
The addition and remodel covered 93,000 square feet. The addition included a 12,000 square foot auxiliary gymnasium with a performance stage, lighting, two basketball cross courts and a sound system. Below the gymnasium we constructed a new fitness/wellness room. The outdoor tennis courts were relocated and reconstructed to accommodate the gymnasium addition. We expanded and renovated 6,500 square feet of the media center/library and administration area which included creating a secure entry. The rest of the addition consisted of 12,000 square feet of classroom additions.
The renovation to the school included remodeling 8,000 square feet of the kitchen and cafeteria which was in only eight weeks. Kitchen work included removing a load bearing masonry wall, removal of existing slab on grade to install all new underground plumbing, all new masonry walls, floors, ceilings and kitchen equipment. The remaining 54,000 square feet consisted of remodeling classrooms and restrooms. PE locker rooms, main entry canopy, building entries and CCTV cameras were also upgraded.
