Scope Of Work
Project Consisted Largely of Restoring and Improving the Main Deck of the Bridge. Bridge Had a Large Over Hang Above with a Shear Drop Off on the Opposing Side Making Safety Awareness a Vital Concern and of Majority Priority. Demolition of the Old Timbers and Metal was Performed while at the Same Time Inspecting the Corrugated Main Metal Deck Sub-Surface. New Timbers Were Installed with the Addition of New Diamond Metal Runner Plates. The Work Took Place up in the Forestry and Mountains Outside of Roosevelt Lake. There were no Means of Outside Contact or Coordination for up to 10 Miles in Each Direction. The First Opportunity for Outside Communication was by Cell Phone After Traveling the 10 miles from the Bridge Trail Head in Either Direction on the Forest Road. Meticulous Planning Assured that the Crew Had All Tools and Other Materials Available Prior to Mobilization Allowing for a Uninterrupted Work Performance and Completion.
