Scope Of Work
We created a tunnel under the slab to install the waste system for two bathrooms and a kitchen area in the backroom. We also created the water system as well as installing a pump for the remediation of quite a bit of ground water that we discovered through the tunneling process. The store is situated in a swamp like area and the resulting ground water had an overpowering petroleum smell. Testing of the water determined that while it was not toxic, it was not suitable for drainage into the city sewer system. In order to keep with the standards set forth by the EPA, we pumped the water into collection tanks to be properly disposed of as the project progressed.
