Scope Of Work
This project entailed the installation of 3/8" Epoxy Terrazzo for its durability and ease of maintenance. Terrazzo was installed through the mail, elevator and main lobbies of this residential building in Brooklyn, NY. Heavy Top Brass strip (3/8" top thickness) was used to separate colors and provide a geometric pattern. The substrate includes over a 1/2" of epoxy/sand underlayment in order to achieve the standard flatness tolerances and multiple membrane layers for crack isolation. Installation was broken out into multiple phases and IFS worked around the clock for a quick/efficient turnover.
