Scope Of Work
Designed by famed architects Lincoln Rogers and Frank W. Stevenson, the 7-story building was constructed in 1924 and offered over 350 guest rooms. The former hotel and YMCA site is located in the middle of busy downtown San Diego, near the Gaslamp Quarter. With its size and unique location, we were able to accommodate and perform our work to the highest standards. Watkins Environmental performed hazardous materials abatement and interior & exterior building demolition to make way for a new boutique hotel. With over 90,000 square feet of total building area, our team completed its work in 15 weeks.
