Project Scope:
In 2012, the Kenaitze Indian tribe broke ground on the Dena’ina Wellness Center - a 52,000 s.f., two-story comprehensive wellness center located in Old Town Kenai, AK. The $36 million project, which took years to plan, was completed in early 2014 and now serves over 3,000 Native Alaskans and American Indians. The Wellness Center provides medical care, dental, and physical therapy alongside traditional healing, food preparation, and counseling rooms. The building has also achieved a LEED Silver certification.
