Our Story
Firm History
In 1972, Robert A. DeSalvio, upon returning from the Army Corp. of Engineers, would pursue a career in the construction industry. Hands on learning and knee deep in concrete he would perfect his craft. He aspired to rise to the next level and his vision was to build a company of his own developed from infancy. His thought was to build a top Construction Management firm while building a legacy of exceptional project delivery. The vision statement of the company has always been “to put the needs of the client above their own”. It was agreed upon throughout the company, that all client’s projects would receive “our” personal attention and that success would be measured in repeat business and referrals from satisfied customers. To this end, we began to develop DeSalvio Construction Group’s structure and to identify potential partners and staff that share in their vision.
Incorporated in February 2005, DeSalvio Construction of Virginia LLC is headquartered in Clinton Township, MI, with a satellite office in Williamsburg, VA.
