05300-Metal Decking

• 1 ½” 22 gage type B painted metal deck over pre-engineered roof trusses only

• 6” 16 gage metal framing for truss vertical chord support
• 3-5/8” 20 and 18 gage framing for cornice/dentil boxout and eaves/soffits
• Misc clips and fasteners

• Installation of pre-engineered metal mansard trusses at 48” o.c
• Intermediate framing between trusses for sheathing attachment

• 5/8” CDX plywood on metal framing (APA rated) on metal framing
• 5/8” CDX plywood on metal decking at metal trusses (APA rated)

• R-11 unfaced fiberglass batts in metal stud cavities where indicated
• R-19 unfaced fiberglass batts above acoustical ceilings
• 1 ½” foil-faced rigid extruded insulation in perimeter framing at exterior walls
• TyVek Commercial Wrap over DensGlass and plywood sheathing behind stucco

• Framing for partitions, ceilings, and soffits (25 gage typical per plans)
• Drywall and finishing (level 4 typical, level 1 at concealed)
• Cement board backer at wall tile
• DensGlass sheathing over exterior metal framing
• Beads and trims
• Sound caulk as required
• Firecaulking the perimeter of drywall partitions
• Installation of hollow metal door frames (provided by owner) into drywall partitions
