Scope Of Work
GAMA Contracting Services, Inc. was awarded The LAC+USC Medical Center Project. This was an Infection Control Project. The project was to build safe containments throughout the blood lab, so construction and renovations could begin above the area.
What made this project challenging was that the lab remained fully operational 24 hours, 7 days a week, with no break or down time while construction. Machines were constantly processing opened tubes with blood samples. Lab employees were onsite every minute of the day. Our team was able to successfully provide a comprehensive safety plan and procedure to the LAC+USC employees. This job had multiple phases. Our experience in providing safe containments proved to be crucial in the success of this project.
