Home of a booming biotechnology industry, Harvard University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, the city of Cambridge presents great opportunities for the construction industry.

In February, construction began on a new 115-unit apartment development at 159 First Street planned to have both commercial and residential space. Kenseal Construction Products supplied specialty construction materials to Exterior Designs, Inc. for the new building.

This was a unique project and we were happy to help our valued customer. With the colder season quickly approaching, the job required a winter grade air vapor barrier to go along with an exterior insulation and finish system. Jeff King, sales representative, Kenseal worked closely with BASF to deliver products that would allow the contractor to work through the winter. The result? A successful project and a happy customer.
