Scope Of Work
The project's designers were careful to make this facility very efficient in handling passengers and cargo but they were also focused on its aesthetic appearance. Waiting areas are large and comfortable, concourse areas are wide and bright, and the finishes are state of the art and appealing to all who venture inside. In fact, the concourse looks more like an upscale shopping mall than an airport terminal.
What makes our acoustical and metal ceiling work on this project special is the way we managed the architects' demands of various ceiling types, finishes, elevations and profiles to create an interesting and unique appearance throughout the public areas. Drywall framing on this project was also very interesting as the architects relied on our expert installers to create structural and non-structural curved surfaces, tapered and trapezoidal surfaces throughout the building. The quality of finished material supplied by the manufacturers was very high and consistent with the exacting specifications on this project. Our superb installation of ceiling and drywall finish systems at the North Terminal was second-to-none and will be a longstanding example of Acousti quality.
