Graduated High School 1987 Attended Mpls Community College graduated 1990. Left Mpls to find a place to live. Ended up in Scottsdale, AZ. Fist electrician job was with Lafferty Electric working on the Superstition Freeway. Landed a job with the Scottsdale Conference resort as a maintenance electrician, Was promoted to Supervisor at 23yrs old, Assistant Chief at 24 and made Chief Engineer at 26 yrs old in Hartford CT.

In 1996 I was able to obtain my Electrical Contractors License in Arizona while working for the Scottsdale Conference Resort I had crews remodeling houses as I developed my Career in the Hospitality Industry.  Often working 15 hour days I was able to launch my Electrical contracting business landing my first project remodeling a fitness gym in Scottsdale and then just worked on referral and word of mouth performing no advertising and brought sales to just under $400K in 2001. From 2001 I found the niche of residential remodeling built, marketed and managed a business of 17 employees preforming between 25 – 45 Residential remodeling projects simultaneously and continuously from 2001 to 2008 rewiring some 1200 houses in the phoenix market.

In 2008 all work stopped and we went to survival mode having to lay off all but 3 employees, we all put tool belts back on and went to work for the few that were still working. In 2010 I found my first hotel renovation project I was able to perform (2) projects at the same time. I then started marketing to the Hotel Contractors around the country. In 2011 I obtained my California Electrical Contractors License. Since 2011 I have been Marketing, Selling and building a business that will do $3.2M in 2015 as well as buying a General Contracting business in Florida specifically geared to Hotel Renovations.

I have been a business entrepreneur, business leader, team leader, project manager, estimator, sales and marketing for 20 years. In 2014 I took the challenge to make Hotel Electric a Nationwide Electrical Contractor. I have licenses in AZ, CA, and testing in 2015 FL, OR, GA and working on many more.  We have completed over 5000 Guest room renovations, over 50 Hotel Projects, 15 Multi Family and 100’s of residential remodels in from 2012 – 2015
