Scope Of Work
New Market West community services and retail hub is a proposed 135,700 square foot building located in West Philadelphia near the 60th and Market Street El stop. New Market West a joint venture between Mission First Housing Group and Horizon House in an effort to revitalize the neighborhood. The new building will contain workforce development, high quality early childhood education, educational and emergency support services, and behavioral health services.
EEI performed Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments and is currently overseeing remediation under the Act 2 – PA Land Recycling Program. Work performed also included a geotechnical investigation for the five story building with one level of below grade parking.
