Scope Of Work
Located at the former US Steel - Fairless Works the KIPC has of over 1,000 acres of the original site that have been reclaimed for productive use and new commercial/industrial buildings. The site, which has significant rail and deep water port capability, has been transformed into an industrial park R.L. Showalter Associates provided civil engineering for numerous portions of the complex. EEI worked both for and with and with Showalter on numerous facilities within the complex. We performed geotechnical engineering for Showalter for the KIPC Support Building and main facility truck scales. Several investigations were conducted for International Salt for their facility along the Delaware River. Additionally, EEI performed geotechnical services for the Novolog facility, a produce of insulin for Diabetes patients. We worked closely with Showalter in our efforts on all of the above mention projects, in addition to many other projects through the years.
There is no completion date available due to the fact that there were several projects over the years.
