Scope Of Work
Safety
- New security cameras.
- Door security access systems.
- Replacement of exterior site lighting fixtures.
- Replacement of stair interior lighting fixtures.
Development Improvements
- Resurfacing of site pavement affected by the construction.
- Replacement of underground electrical wiring system.
- New parking configuration.
Building Improvements
- New mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems located above the FEMA flood level
- Roof replacement for all 3 buildings.
- Replacement of all first floor doors, door frames, and hardware damaged by water.
- Replacement of the electrical conduits and plumbing pipes damaged by water located below ground.
Resiliency
- Combination of dry and wet flood proofing in all buildings. Floor hardening of dry flood
proofed areas.
- Dry flood proofing and floor hardening of senior center at building 2, providing
temporary facilities during construction activities.
Energy
- New hydronic boiler in annex to building 3, new electrical service annexes in all
buildings elevated above the FEMA flood elevation.
- Installation of full backup power generators located at the electrical service annexes.
- Additional sitewide energy and sustainability measures (awaiting HUD approval).
