About Us
Reed Land Surveying, Inc. is dedicated to providing quality survey services to clients in the Eastern Massachusetts area. Although we focus on Construction Layout and Existing Conditions Surveys, we also provide a broader range of survey services including, Property line Surveys, Plot Plans, Subdivisions, Site Plans, Lot Stakeouts, Title Insurance Surveys, and Flood Insurance Certificates. We strive continually to improve our methods and procedures to provide our clients with the highest value for least cost. The latest technology is utilized to provide fast and accurate delivery of our services. Our company motto is “do it right the first time.”
Glen D. Reed P.L.S., founded the firm in order to provide surveys that are done correctly from start to finish. Glen started land surveying in 1990 and by 1998 he had satisfied all the requirements and obtained his professional license. He has performed hundreds of boundary retracement surveys throughout Massachusetts. Glen has been admitted as an expert in his field by the Massachusetts court system. His experience includes boundary surveys, topographic surveys, utility surveys, control surveys, roadway surveys, ALTA/ACSM land title surveys, and extensive construction layout surveys. Glen has a passion for surveying and truly enjoys his work. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Rhode Island. He is a member of the Massachusetts Association of Land Surveyors and Civil Engineers (MALSCE) and the past Treasurer of the School of Surveying. He has also served as a survey instructor at Wentworth Institute of Technology.
Who is a Professional Land Surveyor in Massachusetts?
A person who after meeting educational requirements, experience requirement, and passing written and oral examinations is registered by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts to practice land surveying. Only a Professional Land Surveyor duly registered in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is legally permitted to perform land surveys in Massachusetts.
