SCIW Fence Products, Inc. has been owned and operated by the Kowal family for four generations. We continue to conduct our business with the same regard for quality,value and integrity as our founder.

SCIW Fence Products, Inc. was established in 1923 in Camden N.J. by Antoni Kowal who had emigrated from Poland in 1910. A blacksmith by trade Antoni began our business as such and over the next twenty years expanded into the manufacture and installation of railings, fire escapes, cellar doors and eventually fencing.

In 1945 a second generation had joined the business and we expanded into welding and fabrication and four years later we installed our first chainlink fence. We began to establish the long term relationships with quality manufacturers that we maintain today.

1959 brought a major change to our company as we decided discontinue installations and focus purely on the wholesale distribution of fencing products. This enabled us to service our customers without conflict and greatly enhanced our ability to grow as a leader in the industry. As the industry has changed we have been able to adapt to the changing market to provide our customers with the best quality and value available.

We opened our second location in Hightstown, N.J. in 1976 to better serve our customers in central and northern New Jersey. We have recently relocated this Central Jersey location to a much larger and more modern facility in Hamilton.

In 2003 we embarked upon yet another ambitious expansion. We left our Camden facility that had been our home for 80 years and moved into a brand new 14 acre state of the art facility in Mickleton, N.J.. This facility has allowed us to continue to provide our unparalleled service that our customers have come to rely upon.

In 2006 we entered perhaps the most exciting phase of our evolution with the introduction of our own brand of PVC fencing. Hometown Vinyl Systems is fully manufactured by SCIW Fence Products in response to our customers demand for a high quality and competitively price PVC fence system. As always we strive to continue to bring to our customers high quality, high value fence products.
