Our family has been servicing the North Texas Construction industry since 1970.

It all began with Jimmy Watkins starting Burleson Concrete Products to provide septic tanks for local installers. His company later grew and the name changed to American Industrial Precast Products, Inc. The company provided concrete for over 30 years.

The business later sold to Hughes Supply. In 2000 the son of Jimmy, Rusty Watkins, founded Watkins Metal Fabrication, Inc. The company provided concrete accessories to precast concrete companies, supply houses and contractors across the country.

In 2012 Watkins Metal began manufacturing several product lines for the Oil and Gas industry. These products include storage tanks for oil and fuel, ASME code pressure vessels and flares.

We're now introducing our Concrete Division back to the North Texas area as well as our new name Watkins Industries, Inc.

We provide quality products in concrete and steel. We manufacture our own forms and equipment for our concrete products so you can see the difference in quality. Our management and sales team has over 100 combined years in precast concrete and manufacturing industry. 

Another division of our business is American Shelters and Safe Rooms. The name is a tribute to how it all started at American Industrial Precast.
