Our Story
Independence Recycling, Inc. has been in the business of crushing concrete, asphalt, slag and virgin aggregates for the past 32 years. In that time, Independence has increasingly built an operating capacity capable of crushing more than 3 million tons per year. The company continues to improve its operations with innovative equipment and highly trained employees. Independence Recycling is part of the DiGeronimo Companies, which include: Independence Excavating, Independence Communications, Precision Environmental, Indy Equipment, Flex-Tech, DiGeronimo Aggregates, Independence Demolition and Independence Recycling of Florida.Today, Independence Recycling has 12 portable crushing plants and crushes an average of 50,000 tons per week.
