Scope Of Work
This $70 million project, a 230 foot hotel with 188 rooms, will utilize a five-story McKim, Mead and White landmark structure, completed in 1907 as its base. Rising behind the original building, which fronts on Fifth Avenue, the hotel will rise 23 stories, with an outdoor terrace and bar on the 9th floor, and an event space on the roof. Manhattan Land Surveying & Engineering provided axis lines, benchmarks, as built surveys, floor deviations and monitoring of adjacent structures during excavation and foundation work.
