Scope Of Work
Bright Horizons is the leader in early education and preschool, drop-in / emergency-care, school holiday, vacation care, inclement weather care and summer camp.
As Construction Manager for Bright Horizons, B.R. Fries worked closely with the project architect, Environetics, owner’s representative, WG Project Management, and Bright Horizons to establish the correct project budget and manage the sourcing, purchasing and construction of this prestigious child daycare center. This center is located in a previously unoccupied ground floor space in a high-rise office building in Long Island City, Queens.
The project included custom millwork for play, learning and excercise areas, as well as food preparation stations, diaper changing areas, cubbies, and teacher’s work stations. State-of-the-art mechanical, electrical and fire safety systems were installed and configured to meet strict licensing requirements.
Despite considerable challenges, B.R. Fries was able to keep the project on track, budget and schedule.
