Our Story
For 20 years Horizons’ Innovative technology and skilled labor force has supported the Construction industry with their drilling and excavation projects. In the beginning Horizon began as a drilling contractor, through the years, operating in the fast-paced telecommunications industry, Horizon has evolved into a full-service utility infrastructure contractor. Our company has focused on and has been a major player in the underground construction industry and we have installed hundreds of miles of conduit and cable in the Western United States. With our growth, we have expanded our customer base, which includes telecom, wireless providers, solar, electric, gas, and railroad.

Our Focus On Safety
Horizon Underground is dedicated to keeping all of our employees safe and we know this doesn't happen by accident. We have fostered a positive safety culture and implemented a safety program to maximize the way we communicate about and develop safe work practices. Our safety management system includes: Daily worksite "tailgate" meetings to discuss the upcoming work functions to be performed and identify any potential safety hazards associated with those functions; Worksite audits conducted by one of our trained safety coordinators; Weekly safety meetings that cover specific industry related topics; as well as a quarterly "All- hands" meeting to review/ discuss all safety incidents and accidents that may have occurred and cover additional safety training items. We understand that continuous safety training is the key to developing a true safety mindset.
