Scope Of Work
Kimball Construction provided Value Engineered, Design-Build services and served as the Prime General Contractor for the Engineers Club Vertical Expansion. The addition to the mansion was a project members of the club wanted to complete for +10 years and eventually began construction in 2017. The project was value-engineered by Kimball to complete the project within the Owner’s allotted budget.
Previous to the addition, access to the building was limited and difficult for handicapped guests. This addition allows for access to all levels of the mansion, with ease, via an ADA entrance and exit, elevator stopping at all floors, and ADA restrooms. The Garrett Jacobs Mansion was built in 1853 and hosts weddings, dinners, and networking events regularly with guests of all ages and is now accommodating to everyone in attendance.
