Our Story
Allied Excavating, Inc., established in 1971, is an excavating contractor currently working in Rockland, Sullivan and Orange counties in New York and northern New Jersey.
We offer a variety of services including excavating, complete site development, culvert construction, sanitary sewers-pump stations, blasting, demolition, hammering, asphalt paving, mobile crusher and screener.
"We're located in the Hudson Valley, but this area wasn't developed for a long time, so I spent about the first 30 years driving back and forth to jobs throughout New Jersey," Rich recalls. But slow and steady growth helped the Majewskis build the business into what today is a 35-employee-strong company that still maintains its roots in foundation, septic and clearing projects, while tackling large site projects for commercial developers. Those projects encompass every aspect of excavation work, including utility installation. The type of projects that Allied Excavating does are about evenly split between commercial and residential, depending upon the strength of the housing market. -- Source: PBE Pacer
OUR PHILOSOPHY
On time, on budget, and at a fair price.
"We've built quite a few longstanding relationships with customers, and that plays a huge role in our business," says Rich. They've come to understand that when we take on a job, we're focused on getting it done on time, on budget, and at a fair price. I've always believed that being honest with customers and hard work are key to making the business successful."
OUR MISSION
Grow the company in a slow and steady manner.
Brock intends to continue to surround himself with employees who are willing to work as hard as he and his father do. "Growing the company in a slow and steady manner is the ideal way to do it" he admits. "Trying to grow too fast will only create more headaches than it's worth. I don't ever want to fall into the trap of being so big that customer service suffers. I'll never let that happen."
