Scope Of Work

The following pictures and video feature some of the highlights from a job we recently did on the Sprain Brook PKWY in Elmsford, NY.  The close to 200′ long girders weighed over 90,000 lbs each and required 2 large hydraulic cranes to be set in place.

Originally the pick was engineered for 2 Liebherr 1200 (200 ton machines), but due to other circumstances, another crane company slated to provide the other Liebherr 1200 could not provide the machine.  Quick Pick was called to provide a similar crane, our Grove GMK5275 was the crane for the job, and could match the capacity of the Liebherr 1200 with a reduced counterweight package.  The contractor however, requested the full counterweight package for an increased safety factor.

A number of beams were set on a night shift over a 3 night period.
