Scope Of Work

The Family Health Center on Virginia is a 25,000 SF facility located in McKinney, Texas. The clinic will support the surrounding community by providing expanded primary-medical, dental and behavioral healthcare to local families. 

The North Texas Family Health Foundation has created a new model that fundamentally reimagines how to provide primary care resources for the underserved. By raising local funds to build the new facility and cover start-up costs for the clinic, the Foundation has supported the creation of a sustainable community resource. The state-of-the art facility, designed in collaboration with MASS Design Group, represents a signature element of The North Texas Family Health Foundation’s commitment to providing patient-centered care in a welcoming and dignified setting.

The Family Health Center on Virginia, a service of Community Healthcare Center, has been awarded designation as a Federally Qualified Health Center. This designation is considered to be a measure of excellence in primary care infrastructure. Healthcare services include:

• Pediatrics, family medicine, behavioral health counseling and obstetrics and gynecology

• Dental cleanings, exams, extractions, fillings, sealants, X-rays and specialist referrals

• Health education, community outreach, and linking patients to critical basic resources, including social services, transportation and nutritious food
