Scope Of Work
The 1999 Professional Tennis Season marked the centennial of the Davis Cup and the 100th Anniversary Davis Cup '99 was scheduled for the courts the Davis Cup was founded on in 1899 at the Longwood Cricket Club. Avary RT.G., Inc. was selected to perform the facility makeover in anticipation of this historic event. Commencing at the end of the 1998 season and working throughout the winter of 1998 and 1999, Avary RT.G., Inc. provided a complete renovation of the terraces, walkways and under building services areas. Work included a new masonry terrace, balcony, winter weather protection operations, underpinning and new foundation work, post shoring support of the existing building, decking surfaces, curved carpentry stairways, balusters and over 3,000sf of customized masonry walkway. Site drainage, mechanical and electrical work and ADA Handicap access requirements. Prompt scheduled completion allowed for flawless operations of Davis Cup '99.
