Scope Of Work
This project comprised a complete renovation of the 9700 sf Office of Information & Technology and Dept. of Logistics and Acquisitions spaces in Building 37 at Hines VA Hospital. Scope included demolitions, asbestos removal, fire protection, mechanical equipment, new electrical wiring and lighting, entirely new offices, open office areas and conference rooms. New finishes were coordinated with furniture/cubicles that were supplied and installed by the Owner. Since the work occurred in occupied space, careful phasing, proper ventilation and protection of existing spaces were critical responsibilities for Opcon.
