The project consists of an approximately 27,000 square foot Building for the Fort Belvoir DPW. The work included, but was not limited to the following: Gutting out the building and constructing new walls, ceilings, floors, and utilities. Constructing new elevator. Repairing building structure, exterior brick walls, downspouts, parapets, and drainage system. Replacing and upgrading all mechanical, plumbing, electrical, telecommunication and fire protection and alarm systems. Replacing and upgrading roof, insulation, windows, doors and entrances. Replacing and upgrading exterior utilities. Reconstructing the walkway around the building, re-grading for drainage, and providing landscape. Design/Build a new, complete, analog/addressable fire alarm and mass notification system. |
