Scope Of Work
This renovation project on the 40-year-old Bank of Oklahoma Plaza began with the repair of the waterproofing system. This required that all brick pavers be removed and replaced with a new waterproof barrier topped with decorative colored concrete and charcoal gray plaster-finished planters with gray cast stone caps. The exterior of the building had new steel and aluminum pergolas added, as well as planters, benches, and landscaping to make the plaza attractive and inviting.
The renovation was completed with the addition of a new guardrail along the plaza edge, and the addition of insulated glass and glazing, along with additional shading and improved entry protection measures. Changes to the exterior of the building also included new signage, lighting, and building glazing at street level, bringing a more up-to-date downtown urban feel to this existing structure.
The project also included restoration of the adjacent parking structure.
