Scope Of Work
Pinnacle at Locust Grove is a two-story, 30,000 GSF, Class A professional office building on Bill Gardner Parkway, east of I-75. Due to the volatility in steel pricing at the time, SG Contracting recommended using precast concrete for the structure and skin for the building. The outcome resulted in a schedule reduction of 6 weeks and savings of $5 per square foot in the Owner’s original budget. The site features an underground storm water detention system, which allowed for maximized site usage and reduced overall project costs by $150,000. SG Contracting also provided interior construction services for a hospital grade endoscopy procedural center, cardiologist, chiropractor, and a podiatrist. In 2005, the American Concrete Institute (AIC) awarded the building First Place for design and construction in the low-rise office building category.
