Scope Of Work
Donnelly provided pre-construction and general contractor services for a new 50,000 SF building on Oratory’s Summit, NJ campus. The new building houses a gymnasium, fitness center, cafeteria, and locker rooms, along with administrative offices and classrooms. The project provided many challenges, foremost among them maintaining an open campus for the 400 students while the site was within ten feet of an active classroom building and the school’s athletic field. Donnelly worked closely with the school to maintain a safe learning environment while maintaining the project schedule. The building was a phased turnover with classes taking place on the lower level as construction was completed above. Partnering with multiple stakeholders, we implemented mid-schedule design changes and proposed value engineering options to help keep the school and project on budget.
