Miller Motte Technical College was founded in 1916 with the goal of training stenographers. Since then, it has blossomed into a full technical college with a variety of different degrees. They assist students with acquiring the essential career, personal skills and knowledge necessary to secure initial employment in their chosen field.
This project was a 42,000 SF design/ build technical college. It included demolition, MEP’s, finishes, structural steel, cabinetry, storefront, specialty equipment, and doors/ windows. This project was done in 3 phases so the college could continue to operate. The college has admin offices, classrooms, bathrooms, locker rooms, a bookstore, a student lounge with ceiling clouds, and a complete cosmetology area including a reception desk. The medical labs look exactly like a hospital setting for hands on training.
