Spencer Home Center is a respected name for quality building materials, millwork and designer kitchens and baths. Located in the heart of scenic Rockbridge County, Virginia the company was established in 1978 by John Spencer. John had been the Manager and a partner in the former Lambert Building Supply. After purchasing the business, John, together with his wife, Judith renamed the business in 1988. A new Spencer Home Center was relocated and a new modern facility built to service the growing needs of the county. Among other innovations the new Spencer's featured, Virginia's first drive-through building material warehouse and John served as a leader and President of the former Virginia Building Material Association.

Since that time, onto today the business has been a resource for the trades. Now in its second generation the business is owned and managed by Eric Spencer, who continues to build upon the fine reputation started by his parents. Whether you are a homeowner, professional builder or remodeler Spencer's is your source for product knowledge, technical support and a place where special orders are made easy. Spencer's is a place where business can still be conducted on a first name basis.
