Scope Of Work
Description:
The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) Laboratory and Inspection contract is an IDIQ contract for providing geotechnical and CMT testing and inspection (field and laboratory) support staff for VDOT projects. Now in the third renewal of the contract Specialized Engineering has provided multiple staff in various departments on a vast array of VDOT contracts.
Specialized Engineering has also been awarded various task orders to provide a variety of services to include providing in-house laboratory testing for construction materials utilized in VDOT projects; sampling of various materials from suppliers and producers such as asphalt, binder, emulsion, aggregates, road salt and bearing pads. Specialized Engineering has also been award task orders for providing inspection services at multiple structural steel fabrication facilities throughout the Mid-Atlantic which provide steel members for various VDOT projects statewide.
