Scope Of Work
A 450-acre master planned corporate community containing one-story flex buildings to multi-story office buildings as well as multiple highly traveled roadways. The campus also includes retail, build-to-suit properties, hotel, multi-family units the Wells Fargo Corporate Office, and the RIV 5 National Cancer Institute Campus. The Wells Fargo building is a three-story, 310,000 square foot, tilt-up building located in Frederick, Maryland. This individual project consisted of over 12,785 cubic yards of concrete and required over 100,000 cubic yards of earth removal and excavation.
Specialized Engineering provided geotechnical engineering, construction materials testing services for the project including:
Geotechnical investigation
Electrical resistivity study
Phase I Environmental site assessment
Soil compaction testing
Cast-in-place concrete and reinforcing steel
Observation of stormwater management installation
Masonry observation and testing
Structural steel observation
