Scope Of Work
This project, located in the Town of Indian Head, MD consists of the construction of a boardwalk and living shoreline along the Potomac River.
The work will consist of the installation of approximately 1,200 linear feet of elevated boardwalk of timber construction, class 2 stone sill the length of the boardwalk, living shoreline including sand fill and marsh plantings, 1,215 linear feet of elevated timber boardwalk in compliance with the Americans Disabilities Act.
Specialized Engineering provided geotechnical engineering, construction quality assurance, and materials testing services for this project including:
Subsurface investigation
Pile driving analysis
Construction quality assurance observation
Soil compaction testing
Cast-in-place concrete testing
